Mrs. Marie Friedel of Warwick, executive director of The National
Foundation for Gifted and Creative Children, has been chosen for
membership in the International Platform Association. An
organization of distingguished and dedicated persons from
56 nations, founded 150 years ago by Daniel Webster, the group
includes members of the press and other news media, persons in
the entertainment field and government and others who appear
before audiences and are "interested in the power of oratory and
the spoken word."
